How to measure
Width
Lay the tee flat. Measure across the chest from armhole seam to armhole seam.
Length
Measure from the highest point of the shoulder seam straight down to the bottom hem.
Sleeve
From the center back collar seam, across the shoulder, to the sleeve end.
Oversized preference?
Size up one. Fitted look? Go true to size or size down one. No wrong answer.
About the fit
Relaxed fit — not oversized
The Comfort Colors 1717 has a relaxed fit — it sits comfortably without being baggy. The width measurement above is the actual garment laid flat, not a body measurement. If you normally wear a medium and want a true relaxed fit, that's your size. If you want it oversized, go one up. If you prefer something more fitted, go one down. No wrong answer.
Quick answers
Do the tees shrink after washing?
Minimal. Our tees are pre-shrunk. Wash cold, tumble dry low and you're fine. Avoid high heat if you want the print to last longer.
Is the fit the same across all designs?
Yes — we use the same base tee for every design. If a size fits on one, it fits on all.
I'm between sizes. What should I do?
Go up if you prefer loose, down if you prefer structure. When in doubt, most people find that going up one size from their usual gives the best oversized look.
